The focus of the fund will be in three key sectors of the infrastructure market, in investment grade OECD countries: utilities, transportation and long contracted assets.
The Founder and CEO, Graeme Bevans, has had unique experience working as both a manager and institutional investor, including his role as the Head of infrastructure at CPPIB and IFM Investors, presiding over investments of over £3bn in equity in unlisted infrastructure transactions totaling over £20bn.
Chairman Doug Pearce brings 35 years experience with him to AIC, having served as the long-term Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of the bcIMC and its predecessor from 1988 to 2014. Under Doug’s leadership, bcIMC’s assets grew from C$9.4bn to more than C$110bn.
With a combined total of over 150 years of corporate finance experience the AIC senior management team provide the fund with experience in investment banking, law and fund management.
